Social
Generally, Marchmont is as much of a social club as it is a cricket club. Almost every weekend, most of the miscreants of Marchmont can be found in the Golf Tavern - one of the club's main sponsors.
We also have a number of events during the year, including the close season. These range from the President's XI (ok - yes it is cricket but it is still social), team meals (normally at Kushi's), to pub quizzes and the annual pool night (normally at the Angle Club in Morningside).
Social Convener is currently Pete Maksimczyk, who will provide details of the next social event in due course.
The first social event of the season (2010) was a club meal held at Szcechuan House in Toll Cross. Keep your eyes peeled for more, including the MPL!
